Birth: Dec. 26, 1946 Death: May 9, 2010 Rapid City Pennington County South Dakota, USA Jean A. Lorenzen, 63, Rapid City, died Sunday, May 9, 2010, at Rapid City Regional Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Jerry E. Lorenzen, Rapid City; her mother, Viola Battles, Rapid City; a daughter, Cindy Reimer, Rapid City; a son, Steve Reimer, Rapid City; four grandchildren; six sisters, Peggy Johnson and Kathy Graff, both of Rapid City, Nancy Buddenberg, Mullan, Idaho, Linda Weilander, Whitewood, Carol James, Whitman, Neb., and Janet Stulken, Perryton, Texas; and two brothers, Daniel Battles, Sturgis, and Donny Battles, Rapid City. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, at Kirk Funeral Home, and for one hour before services at the church. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Box Elder, with the Rev. Ken Schultz officiating. Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
