Of Richard Gregory – and the Summons issued at the Instance of said Exor. Gregory on Randolf Litsey being returned said Litsey not appearing – but John Litsey app? In his behalf, and we Examined the papers produced by Gregory and by Consent adjourned to a day in next week – John Dyer ) M. Hardin ) Coms. And we again met on another day according to adjournment without t he parties being present to Reexamine the papers and to put the same in order for Settlement and adjourned. John Dyer ) M Harden ) Coms. And we again met on the 25th day of June 1849 and again came to the Exor. Godfrey Gregory before us and Enquired that Doc(t or s) Montgomery the others Coms. Should attend this day with us and Comlet (or Cowlet or Cowlat or Comlat) the Settlement – The Summons as Returned on the 7th inst is here filed marked A – the cost thereon is 50 cents – Godfrey Gregory Exor. aforesaid is charged as follows To amt of Sale Bill Accounts and Notes of Decedant as per copy from County Records produced by the Said Exor. And filed and marked B -- 4133.80 To Sale made in August per memo marked C - 360.00 To Amt. of Debits brot over -- 4443.80 Contra Cr. By amt paid Sundry Expenses per List filed and marked D 44.30 By W E Heads Receipt – E 15.00 By Commissions on $4493.80 at 5 per cent allowed him 224.69 By fees of Commissioners for the Settlement to this day 10.50 By Cost of Summons issued to R. Litsey – Rt? Marked – A .50 Amt of Credits -- $294.99 Balance of Estate $4198.81 This Balance divided among 10 heirs gives to Each Share -- $419.88 Book H, page 482 1. Smith Gregory's 3 Receipts in full of his Share 1.2.3. marked F 2. Able Gregory's assignment & Receipt in full for his share per voucher marked G 3. Asa Gregory's Receipt in full for His Share, marked H 4. 5. 6. Leroy Gregory's Receipt in full for his own Share and William Gregory's & Uriah S. Gregory's Shares Marked ( I or J) . 7. Randy Litsey's Receipt dated May 17th 1817 for $311.11. do dated Sept 17th 1819 - $89.96. The last says a balance of the Estate which is considered in full filed marked K -------Total $412.07 8. Godfrey Gregory's own share John Gregory's Share is Receipted for by his heirs as follows: 1. Bedford Gregory's Receipt 2. Banister Gregory's Receipt 3. Julia Gregory Receipt 4. Uriah Gregory's Share do Receipted for by his heirs as follows – 1. Thomas Appersons Receipt 2. Elizabeth Gregory 3. Godfrey Gregory & Guardian John Haley – by their Receipt 4. Ewill S. Gregory Receipt marked M Washington County Sat June 28th 1849. Be it Remembered that Godfrey Gregory Executor of Richard Gregory deceased commensed this Settlement on the 7th June 1849. Completed this Settlement as in the foregoing Statement and has filed Receipts in full as they appear to the undersigned Commissioners of the Several Heirs, Smith Gregory No 1, Able Gregory No 2, Asa Gregory No 3, Leroy Gregory 4, William Gregory 5, and Uriah S Gregory No 6, Randy Litsey No 7, and Receipts of the Heirs of Uriah Gregory's Share 10 – and the undersigned Commissioners Report that said Gregory the Executor has paid off all and Each of the distributive Shares of Said Estate and that nothing remains due from him to Said Estate or to Said Estate or to any one of the heirs of paid Decendant – Given under our hands this 28th day of June 1849.
