Louise Haby Lemke Newspaper Article Re: Rescue
Newspaper article describing adoption of Louise Haby by the Lemke family after she had been rescued from a South Dakota ranch. She had been "sold" to the rancher when she was 2 years old for $25 as a "slave" and had finally been rescued at age 17 by relatives.
