Mary Ann Eastin Polk & Mary Anne Lewis
From the archives of Universidad de Alcalá (translated using Google): Two weddings took place in the White House in 1832. The first was Mary Eastin (left), grandniece of President Andrew Jackson, who married Lucius J Polk, on April 10, 1832. The second was celebrated on the 29th of November. President Jackson wished that the motherless daughter of an old friend married in the presidential mansion, and thus, Mary Anne Lewis (right) married Alphonse Pageot, in the East Room of the White House.
