John Buttery's Survey 1752
A Survey was conducted the 10th of Aug, 1752 for Richard Rhodes Jun'r of Baltimore Co, Province of Maryland, by N.Ruston Gay for a tract of land located on the north side of the Great Falls at Gunpowder. Richard's name was crossed out and the name of John Buttery was inserted instead. This parcel was for 66 acres called "Rich Level." The land was to rent for 6 & 7 Ster. and the survey, certificate # 1374, was examined and passed 15 Dec 1752 and was not patented.
